We are a very academic Sixth Form with a focus on traditional subjects. Our highly experienced and qualified A-level teachers provide our students with an invaluable learning experience.
The Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do at our school. Each day begins with time for prayer, often using the school’s online prayer resource as a source of guidance; we also have weekly assemblies and mass is celebrated throughout the year.
Maria Fidelis is situated in a convenient location between Euston and Kings Cross train stations, which makes it very easy to reach. The British Library, Francis Crick Institute, Wellcome Trust, UCL, SOAS, LSE and Central St. Martin’s School of Art are all within a five-minute walk of the school.
We are pleased to share with you that Maria Fidelis Catholic School has been selected to take part in the London RISE Open Education Fortnight, a pan-London initiative led by the Department for Education that brings schools together to share strong and effective practice. RISE (Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence) supports schools to improve outcomes for children by promoting collaboration, evidence-informed practice and professional learning. The Open Education Fortnight provides an opportunity for schools across London to visit one another, learn from proven approaches and strengthen practice in line with national priorities. Who is this for? This session is suitable for senior leaders, SENDCOs, inclusion leads, pastoral teams and safeguarding leads. We are offering this workshop on the following dates during the London RISE Open Education Fortnight. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
