Please see the e-Safety notice below from LGfL and the advice from Camden Learning about looking after yourselves.
We are all invited to say the rosary in solidarity with people throughout the Archdiocese of Westminster each Friday at 10:30am. This is a wonderful way of joining together to pray for for all those who are suffering emotionally, spiritually and physically as a result of this pandemic. Alternatively, you may wish to say it at another time with your families or community. The link can be found here.
It is really important that all our families look after themselves during this particularly challenging time. Social media does not give reliable information about the current situation, so please ensure that children are given guidance about the information they are getting and that they do not spend too much time on their devices.
BBC Own It App updated for COVID-19
The BBC's Own It app helps young people new to social media manage their well-being, whilst empowering children to make smart choices, and helping them to lead a positive life online.
The Own It app and keyboard lets children:
- get advice whenever they type
- track their feelings
- win badges as they reflect
- find help when they need it
- taking quizzes to learn more about themselves
The app also includes a special keyboard to use which offers helpful tips and friendly advice to children when they need it. The app can be downloaded here.
